1. Overview

This page tells you what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data that can be used to identify you.

This site is deliberately lean: no cookie banner, no analytics, no trackers. Only data that is technically necessary to operate a modern static website is processed.

2. Data controller

kalebru GmbH
Gustav-Heinkel-Str. 55
76187 Karlsruhe
Germany

E-mail: datenschutz@kalebru.com

3. Hosting

This website is hosted in Germany by Mittwald CM Service GmbH & Co. KG, Königsberger Straße 4-6, 32339 Espelkamp. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place.

When the site is accessed, server logs record technical data: IP address (anonymised shortly after), date and time, requested URL, referrer, user-agent. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation). Logs are automatically deleted after at most seven days unless a security incident requires longer retention.

4. SSL/TLS encryption

For security and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the "https://" in your browser's address bar.

5. Cookies and local storage

This site sets no cookies. It only uses your browser's localStorage to remember your language (DE/EN) and colour scheme (light/dark) preferences between visits.

These entries stay exclusively in your browser, are never transmitted to the server and can be cleared by you at any time (browser settings → clear site data).

6. Fonts

The fonts used (Space Grotesk, JetBrains Mono) are served directly from this website. No external font providers (e.g. Google Fonts) are contacted — your IP address is therefore not transmitted to third parties.

7. Contact via e-mail

If you contact us by e-mail, the data you provide (name, e-mail address, message) is used exclusively to process your enquiry. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding). Your data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply.

8. External links

This site contains links to external websites (e.g. LinkedIn, partner companies). Clicking these links leaves this website. The privacy policies of the respective providers then apply.

9. Your rights

You have the right at any time to:

  • Access to your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Rectification of incorrect data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Deletion of your data (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • Object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR)

Please direct requests to: datenschutz@kalebru.com.

10. Supervisory authority

Competent supervisory authority: The State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg, Lautenschlagerstraße 20, 70173 Stuttgart, Germany. www.baden-wuerttemberg.datenschutz.de
